Bonhams Speed Week sale held this past weekend at the Goodwood event of the same name generated a low sale rate, but bearing in mind we are in the middle of a pandemic and the cars on offer were right at the top end despite some some fantastic cars being available, it was perhaps not that surprising.

Anglia Car Auctions latest sale had the same volume of cars you expect now of their sales, but perhaps for this sale the quality was missing with a lot of bargain basement classics finding new homes, but not so much of the rarities or low mileage cars that we normally see.

SWVA's latest auction at their HQ in Poole, Dorset generated a sale rate of 98% which is probably top of the pile in terms of sale success rate although not that unexpected given that the cars tend to be towards the budget end of the market where the chances of achieving a sale at present are considerably higher.
