Classic Car Auctions

Classic Car Auctions latest sale revealed again how low mileage cars will take the top performing slots. This was particularly so with a 1978 Daimler Sovereign automatic with just 399 miles on the clock. The car was not registered until 2005 having spent the first part of its life in a museum and the second in a private collection. You are definitely not going to find another with such low mileage which is why one bidder was happy to pay well above the odds at £36,520. The Mercedes-Benz SL 500 (R129) seems to be in demand at the moment after years of lacklustre price movements and a 26,000 mile car in this sale went all the way to £26,950. Another low mileage car this time a BMW 635 CSI with 19,677 miles on the clock achieved £34,320 which is top dollar for a car that is not an M class.
