Barons
12 June 2017
There were no standout results at the latest Barons auction with the cars that sold generating prices at or near to where you would expect. It is always interesting to see what barn find/complete restoration cars will command at auction and this sale included a Jaguar XK140 which was largely complete but in bits with the engine out and despite not being a matching numbers car it still achieved just short of £17,000. A very dusty Bristol 411 made a respectable £28,600. Possibly the cheap car of the sale was the £11,220 paid for a recently imported from South Africa Austin Healey MK1 Sprite.
