South Western Vehicle Auctions

The latest SWVA provided enthusiasts and dealers with a nice selection of cars to choose from. The standout results for us include the £6890 paid for a Vanden Plas 1300 which had only 15,641 warranted miles on the clock and whilst the purple colour is probably not to everyone's taste this result shows that good examples of these cars are starting to command higher prices and we see further upside for what have been an overlooked model that to us seem very good value in the current market. Unsurprisingly the Maserati Indy burst through its estimate of £21,000 to £28,000 to reach £48,760. Another marque that has seen good price gains this year is the Rover 3500 and in this auction a 1972 car with 69,000 miles on the clock also surpassed its estimate of £5500 to £6500 to hit £9,434. SWVA have been building their presence in the classic car auction market and we very much look forward to attending their auctions next year.
