H&H

The H&H sale at Donington did not provide any exceptional results and the focus for this sale was primarily on lower value cars which produced mixed results. The notable no sale was the 1987 Ford Sierra RS500 Cosworth which was a 38,000 mile car estimated at £52,000 to £62,000 which looked about right based upon recent sale results for these cars. Whether the failure to sell is a sign that these cars have raced ahead in value at breakneck pace and are due a breather remains to be seen. The in cars at the moment are the 1980s Porsche 911s which have been rising exponentially during the last 18 months or so. This sale included a 911 Carrera 3.2 Targa which had 165,500 miles on the clock but that did not stop the car reaching the best part of £20k. These cars have been undervalued for some time now and still represent good value for money in our view. The next sale promises much excitement at the Chateau Impney Hill Climb on the 10th July and the lot list is already building.
