Not that much to report from the latest CCA sale which took place yesterday. perhaps the best result was the £32,190 paid for a Rover P5B Coupe. We know prices of fine examples of these cars can command strong money as it is generally difficult to find top examples. This is one such example that must have been one of the best and the price paid must be close to record territory. These cars have appreciated in value a good deal in recent years and there is good reason why given the superb driving experience they provide. There is good reason why they were a car of choice for governments of the past.

There was also another strong result for a Peugeot 205 1.9 GTI which had 46,000 miles on the clock and achieved £17,538. These cars continue to have a strong following against a weak market backdrop.

What appeared to be a good Porsche 911 Carrera 3.2 Targa only managed £26,640 which we believe is a reflection of prices still slipping back at the moment. A slightly later car with a higher estimate did not find a buyer whilst an earlier 911SC also went home without a new owner.

A 1964 Jaguar E-Type Series 1 3.8 which was a nice looking car achieved £74,370. Not that long ago barn finds of a series 1 car were achieving that sort of money which shows just how much values have slipped in recent months.
