Barons sale last week which was labelled as their Jaguar Heritage, Classic and Sports Cars achieved 32 sales out of a little over 60 lots. Not the best result but with a limited lot list and a good number of budget cars it is difficult to get the footfall through. Of the cars on offer the standout result has to be the superb Jaguar 420 which had been subjected to a £40,000 rebuild and the car in the photographs does look stunning and certainly justified what we think is an auction record for a 420 at £34,100.
