Bonhams have a superb range of cars at their annual Beaulieu sale this weekend. The selection ranges from an Austin Lichfield to a Rolls Royce Phantom II. Our picks have to be the rare and rather pretty Aster 18/50hp (estimate £18,000-£24000) pictured here and we also see excellent value in the ex motor show 40/50hp Silver Ghost Cabriolet by Windovers which has an estimate of £100,000-£140,000.

There is an Alvis Firefly SB Tourer which is being sold without reserve and could well offer a bargain for someone on the day. Alvis cars across the range are continuing to improve in value and the Firefly looks to be good value with an estimate of £25000 to £30,000. Other big tourers on offer include an Alvis 4.3 Litre drophead coupe (estimate £60,000-£80,000) and also a rather lovely looking Lagonda 4-1/2 litre LG6 short wheel base drophead coupe which has an estimate of £80,000-£120,000.

Our top pick however is towards the lower end of the cost spectrum and that is the lovely looking Rolls Royce 20/25hp Enclosed Limousine which has an estimate of £20,000 to £30,000; we can see the car easily achieving towards the higher end of that range if not more.
