Brightwells first sale of the year did not produce any exceptional results but it did still generate a strong sale rate with 80% of the lots finding new homes. The market's desire for E-Types clearly remains strong and the main yardstick to gauge the market for these cars has to be what price a series 1 car achieves. This sale included a series 1 3.8 coupe which received plenty of interest taking the price inclusive of premium to a strong £81,400.
