The results from Mathewsons last sale are now available on the Glen March website. There are no major surprise, a Jaguar MK2 3.8 by Vicarage made a healthy £57,725. Bubble cars still appear to be in vogue with a BMW Isetta making a £14,300, whilst a Heinkel Trojan made £17,738 and is already up with a dealer for £20k. It was good to see a nice Austin Seven box saloon creep just over the £10k mark showing that there is still plenty of enthusiasm for the right cars. A smart looking Ford Fiesta MK 1 XR2 made a good £15,400. A 1966 Daimler V8 2.5 went on to make £26,750 showing that these cars can now command MK2 money if they are good enough.
