H&H

The first H&H auction of the year took place at Donington Park which is a new venue for the company. This auction was very much focused on the budget end of the market with the majority of the cars being in the sub £10k category with a good number below £5k. The results were broadly as expected with no exceptional results but a good number of sales were achieved. Of particular interest to us was the 1983 Daimler Sovereign 4.2 which was just 20,000 miles from new and only two recorded keepers. The Jaguar XJ Series 3 cars are starting to gain a following now along with many other 80s cars and this Daimler variant was a five speed manual which is likely to have been a special order. The final price of £11,200 was well deserved and we suspect these cars are going to be a good long term investment. H&H have produced their own review of the sale which you can see by clicking here
