CCA held their latest sale at the London Classic Car show at Syon Park. In total 110 lots were offered up. A very nice 1986 Porsche 911 Carrera Supersport Targa made £67,710. These cars were making big money not that long ago and this is a fair price for what is a 3.2 Carrera with a turbo body. A low mileage (34,000 miles) Mini Clubman Estate made a strong £13,320 which demonstrates once again that low mileage and originality will always command a premium. Two rarities in the sale, firstly a 1984 Lancia Beta HPE Volumex with 42,529 miles which had been completely restored made £23,685. A 1976 Lancia Gamma Berlina 2500 with just 79m miles on the clock made £21,090. The car had been subject to a recent 600 hour recommissioning process which has been fully documented. This was an original right hand drive car as well and looked well worth its price tag. We though the left hand drive Jaguar MK2 3.8 which was in need of restoration, but was a matching numbers car looked good value at just £5,550. Another rarity in the sale was a 1953 Jowett Jupiter MK1 which made £29,415.
