Anglia Car Auctions had another very successful sale last Saturday with 154 cars out of 201 sold giving a very respectable sale rate of 78%.For us the car of the sale was the MK 1 Ford Capri 1600 which went on to achieve £14700 and we believe a new record for a 1600 car. The car was absolutely immaculate and low mileage at 56000 miles. The 3 litre cars have been regularly achieving 15k and it seems the smaller engine cars are now playing catch-up.This was not the only low mileage Ford on offer, a MK3 2000E Cortina with 50,000 miles on the clock went on to achieve a strong £7350. There is no doubt that values of these cars are now on there way up and given the limited supply of low mileage original examples we believe values have much further to go over the coming years.
