Brightwells
05 April 2017
Brightwells first sale at a new venue for the company, The Guard House at the Bicester Heritage site went well with 75% of the entries finding new homes with the sale grossing a little over the £1m mark. Notable results were achieved for some of the pre war cars such as the 1923 Vauxhall OD 23/60 Kington which went for £71,500 including premium. A 1927 Delage DIS Colonial Tourer, still sporting its original Phizakerley of Sydney coachwork also did well going on to achieve £49,500. There was also further evidence in this sale that Austin A35s are on the rise with a nice example fetching just under £9k.
