Vauxhall Cresta E sells for £53,760 at Historics
Yesterday's Historics sale was clearly well bid and one new record by quite some margin was the £53,760 someone paid for a 1956 Vauxhall Cresta E which had been the subject of a £50,000 plus restoration. The car was clearly a one off in terms of the quality of the rebuild and was estimated at a more conservative £28,000 to £35,000.
Strong bidding at Historics
Bidding at yesterday's Historics was very strong and suggest that despite all of the horrors going on all around us the market for classic cars remains very strong indeed. We think this was a particularly strong result for Historics with many cars beating the upper end of their estimates and even the no reserve cars did extremely well on the day.
