Vauxhall Cresta E sells for £53,760 at Historics

Yesterday's Historics sale was clearly well bid and one new record by quite some margin was the £53,760 someone paid for a 1956 Vauxhall Cresta E which had been the subject of a £50,000 plus restoration. The car was clearly a one off in terms of the quality of the rebuild and was estimated at a more conservative £28,000 to £35,000. Bearing in mind that an original car or even restored car will sell for anywhere between £7,000 and £15,000, this was quite a big margin of beat to say the least!
