Sub £100k Aston Martin DB6s at Bonhams MPH
We though this was worthy of note, two Aston Martin DB6 that sold at Bonhams MPH sale last week for less than £100k each. When did you last see a sub £100k Aston Martin DB6! Yes both needed recommissioning and both were an auto, but even so this appears to show further weakness in prices.

This is an interesting car, George Formby who was a very famous entertainer of the 30s and 40s owned this MK1 Jaguar until an unfortunate accident with an Austin A30 brought his ownership to an end with the damaged car traded in for a MK 9 Jaguar. The incident was well publicised at the time according to ACA taking place on the August bank holiday of 1959.

Day 2 of Matthewsons today
Mathewsons kicked off their penultimate sale of the year last night with the first 150 lots. The one that caught our eye wasn't a car but a tractor, a 1981 County Tractor which managed a hammer price of £113,000! It will be interesting to see how today goes.
Rarity watch : Ford Pilot Van
We can recall once speaking to someone who owned a Ford Pilot Van but we have never seen one to this day until now. Historics will be selling what they say is believed to be the only Ford Pilot van left in the UK albeit in left hand drive form making it something of a rare beast to say the least.
