If you have any interest in three wheeler Morgans there is no doubt that the CM Booth Collection based at the back of Falstaff Antiques in Rolvenden, Kent is a must see. His collection which has been amassed over the last 60 or so years is undoubtedly the largest collection of three wheeler Morgans you are going to see in one place in the UK.
Charterhouse Auctions Micro Car Sale
An unusual and interesting sale took place this week with Charterhouse selling the entire contents of the Hammond Microcar Museum Collection in Kent. Lost of weird and unusual cars on offer including a Peel 50 made famous in recent years by Jeremy Clarkson in Top Gear.

CCA will be holding their last auction of the year on the 10th December so it is a little early to see what the lot list includes, but there is one entry already on the books which is sure to attract plenty of interest and that is a one owner Ford Escort XR3i with just 2,849 miles from new. The car is being offered without reserve which is a sure route to getting plenty of buyers in the room who will undoubtedly push it to a deserved premium.
Mathewsons sale results now online
Mathewsons have posted their sale results for the first time following their two day sale over Friday and Saturday. Normally no results are posted so this is a departure from their normal practice.

It is rare to see one Micro car come up for auction, but for those with a small garage or a need for something different you will find no better opportunity than the dispersal sale of the The Hammond Microcar Collection Museum which is based in Hawkenbury, Kent. The sale will include the star lot of a 1963 Peel P50.
1981 Vauxhall Chevette HSR Hatchback sells for £59,800 at Bonhams
We believe this is a new record for an HSR Chevette which Bonhams achieved yesterday at its Revival sale. It demonstrates how the balance of power is shifting ever more towards 80s and 90s cars as people seek out rarity with originality and provenance.

Silverstone Auctions latest sale on the 27th August generated some strong numbers which shows that no matter what the macroeconomic backdrop, the best cars with the originality and provenance will still command a premium price. Good examples are the 1980 MGB 1.

Undoubtedly a record that will not be broken, this weekend's major result at Silverstone Auctions sale is the £722,500 paid for a 1985 Ford Escort RS Turbo S1 which was formerly owned by Diana, Princess of Wales. It is an eye watering sum when you consider what a car without the provenance is worth and it proves that even 25 years after her death, the celebrity status she had has not diminished and if anything it has increased given the almost daily stories that surround her family and friends.
Silverstone Auctions to sell unregistered 143 mile MGB
Silverstone Auctions next scheduled sale on the 27th August at the Silverstone Classic will feature a 1980 MGB Roadster with just 143 recorded miles. Unusually the car was bought and kept as an investment as part of a collection of three similar cars with each due to be given to a grandson when they reached 21 years old.
