Viewing at H&H begins today
16 November 2021
H&H hold their next sale at the Imperial War Museum Duxford tomorrow. Viewing kicks off today and the star lot is likely to be a restoration in the shape of a 1955 AC Aceca which has been partially restored with a body in primer but still plenty to do. The car comes with its original AC 2 litre power unit albeit in need of a complete rebuild. The estimate of £45,000 to £55,000 looks about right for what should be a rewarding restoration. There are lots of interesting cars on offer including a 1925 Bentley 3 Litre Dual Cowl Tourer with original coachwork by J. Gurney Nutting. So may of these cars have lost their original coachwork usually in favour of a Le Mans style body which makes this something of a rarity. We will also be keeping an eye on the 1957 Mercedes-Benz 190SL which is one of just 562 right hand drive cars and this one has been rebuilt to a very high standard and comes with an estimate of £150,000 - £200,000.
