Historics first sale of the year took place yesterday and the stand out result was the £36,224 paid for a 1988 BMW 325i E30. This was a very low mileage car showing just 22,429 miles on the clock and it was clearly in superb condition but it was still surprising to see it burst through its estimate of £20,000 - £25,000 to achieve a world record for one of these cars.
