Richard Edmonds last automobilia sale of the year takes place this coming Thursday. As always there is a huge range of interesting and rare lots on offer which make this a must attend sale for anyone with an interest in collecting Petroliana.

Richard Edmonds are holding their next auction at the Toddington Steam Railway on the 1st August. This is a permanent fixture each year and this year's auction is very much focused on spares and assorted automobilia along with some interesting cars.

Bonhams are auctioning this Friday the entire collection of the late Michael Banfield. It is in many respects a great shame to see a collection that has taken many decades to bring together to only be dispersed once again, but that does happen all too often and of course there is then the opportunity for collectors to acquire incredibly rare pieces.

Bonhams next car and automobilia auction is on the 28th April. The selection of automobilia for this time is as always varied but with a particular emphasis on mascots with some real rarities on offer.

Richard Edmonds have their first auction of the year tomorrow and as always they are not going to disappoint with over 1300 lots which is mostly automobilia with a number of cars due to cross the block on Saturday. Richard Edmonds are our favourite automobilia auction house as they always manage to find rare and interesting pieces for every auction and there is nothing like spending a few hours trawling through the lots and watching and bidding the day away! There are far too many lots that we could mention here but for us as petrol pump globe collectors we would certainly be interested in the National Benzole Mixture square form globe and within the enamel signs we rather like the rare East Midland Booking and Parcel Agency rectangular hanging double sided enamel sign which is near to mint condition.

Bonhams last automobilia auction of the year took place today. For us the steal of the auction has to be the Dominion petrol pump globe where good examples can regularly go for £600 plus.
