The Professionals 1980 Ford Capri 3.0 S achieve records at Iconic Auctions

For those of us that remember the 70s, The Professionals was the staple diet of television viewing for many and Iconic Auctioneers offered a rare chance to buy both of the Capri 3.0S cars that were used for Bodie and Doyle to strut their stuff. The opportunity to buy such cars rarely comes along and in this instance they were sold as a pair meaning you would need very deep pockets to house them in your garage. In fact very deep pockets were certainly needed as the pair achieved a record for a MK3 Capri achieving £186,750 for the two. Hopefully they have gone to a home where they might well be aired now and then for the rest of us to enjoy them as well!
