Last of the Summer Wine Triumph Herald sells for £18,480.

Tennants Auctioneers sold what must be the most famous Triumph Herald on the planet last week. The car which was driven by Thora Hird usually in a very comical way was a regular in the early series of the show, The price paid including premium was comfortably over £18,000 which was a good premium on what you would pay for a standard car, but given its story well worth it we feel especially for those such as us who are old enough to remember the show!
