Historics hold their next sale at Windsor Lakes. This is one of their largest sales to date with 309 lots due to go under the hammer. Historics policy of making any car worth closer to £10k or under a no reserve car means there is plenty to suit most budgets and this sale is no exception with a good number of no reserve cars such as a 1965 Jaguar S Type 3,8 which is estimated at £10,000 to £14,000. A 1996 TVR Chimaera Clubman is also no reserve but with just 3,603 miles on the clock it should command well in excess of £10k. Other no reserve cars include a 1930 Ford Model A, a 1952 Morris Minor Split Screen, a 1957 Land Rover Series I, a 1971 Fiat 500L. In the category of restorations another no reserve car is a 1937 Bentley 4¼ litre Saloon by Park Ward which comes with an estimate of £23,000 -£30,000. The finished article is likely to be worth £60k plus so for those with the right skill set this could be a very worthwhile project. In the oddball but rare and very nice category is a 1980 Toyota Landcruiser HJ45 which looks to be in superb order and comes with an estimate of £40,000 - £50,000. Our low mileage pick is the 1989 Porsche 911SC which must have been registered several years after its manufacture and has only 37,354 miles from new. The 911SC has seen some significant price inflation over the last 18 months and it will be interesting to see what this car achieves against its estimate of £49,000 - £58,000. Our pre war pick is the 1917 Austin 20 Tourer which was used as a prototype promotional vehicle by Edgar Wren to gain more orders for the model and is estimated at £32,000 to £40,000.
