About the Aston Martin V8 Series 2
AM V8 series 2 cars were produced from 1972 through July 1973. They used a similar engine to the DBS V8, albeit with Bosch fuel injection rather than the earlier carburetors. Just 288 Series 2 cars were built.The series 2 car had horizontal louvres in panel under the rear screen and the spare wheel stored in the boot floor. The main changes made were to the front end with two 7 inch quartz iodine headlamps and a black mesh grill.
