Austin Seven Military Tourer

The Austin 7 was an economy car produced from 1922 until 1939 in the United Kingdom by the Austin Motor Company. Nicknamed the "Baby Austin", it was one of the most popular cars ever produced for the British market, and sold well abroad. It wiped out most other British small cars and cyclecars of the early 1920s.
Some were built to a military specification and used by the British army in the 1930s, and were regarded
as highly suitable for their purpose. Austin 7's have always been regarded as excellent cross-country vehicles, their low power being offset by extremely light weight and high manoeuvrability. They are often used today in competitive mud hill climbs and time trials. Some were still in service during WW2.
