Volvo 240GL sells for £8384 at SWVA

We had another sign of the next generation of classic cars coming through at SWVA last Friday with a Volvo 240GL estate selling for £8,384. The car had an extremely low estimate in the hundreds which was perhaps not that far off what these cars can sell for. However, this was one family owned car from new and judging from the pictures was in lovely condition. It wasn't a low mileage example with 83,600 warranted miles on the clock, but that didn't stop it from achieving what must be a world record for one of these cars.
