TVR Tina Prototype to be sold this weekend at Silverstone Auctions

A rather unique TVR that was produced in the 1960s when the company was attempting to re-launch itself will be sold at the Silverstone Auctions sale this coming weekend at the NEC. Built in steel by Italian coachbuilder Fissore, the car was unveiled at the 1966 Turin Motor Show. Sadly the car never made it into production and the two prototypes were left to deteriorate. This particular example is being sold by the person it was named after, the daughter of Gerry Marshall a business associate of Martin Lilley who had bought TVR in 1965. She inherited the car in 2005 and has it subsequently restored to its former glory. The attractive lines of the car are sure to spark plenty of interest when the car is sold on Saturday with an estimate of £30,000 - 40,000. The full details on the car can be found here
