Mathewsons next two day sale takes place this coming weekend and with 660 lots going under the hammer there is plenty for everyone to choose from. Our choice has to be the Standard Vanguard Estate which is extremely rare and we suspect only a handful of such cars remain today. This one has been the subject of a total restoration and was clearly in a very bad state when the restoration was undertaken last year. A donor car has been used to source parts for the build but the car has been kept as original as possible. If the restoration has been completed to a good standard it looks a steal at the estimate of £7,500 to £8,500. You rest assured that you will be the only one with one of these at the local show!
