Lagonda Surfaces After 35 Years

This 1931 Lagonda 3-Litre Tourer has emerged after sitting in storage since 1988. The car has been with its current owner for the past 43 years. Its odometer reads 6,350 miles and whilst the Lagonda’s 3-litre engine isn't running, it does turn over freely according to its rescuers, Manor Park Classics. The motor was supplied new in 1931 from a Lagonda dealership in Manchester, and after moving through just a handful of owners it was put to rest in a barn in 1988. The classic was rescued on March 9th this year and is even carrying its original registration number that was issued in Manchester, 1931. It is set to be auctioned by Manor Park Classics in their May 14th sale. The Cheshire based auction house has set an estimate of £90,000-£110,000 for the car.
