Is the Rover P6 3500 finally finding a following

Values of several makes and models are starting to firm up after years in the unloved doldrums. The Rover P6 3500 is one such example. Powered by a Buick derived 3528cc engine these cars are not short of power. They do attract the dreaded tin worm, but if you can find a well preserved car they make for a superb and comfortable classic. A couple of recent auction results suggests values are picking up and deservedly so as they have lagged the P5 cars for some time. Historics sold a 9,900 mile car for a little over £16,000 last month and in their previous sale a 3500s also achieved big money with a final result of just under £14,000. Find a low mileage example among the private ads at yesterday's prices and you might well bag a classic bargain.
