Historics on the 19th May at Brooklands

The next Historics sale at their usual venue of the Brooklands motor museum has a big offering of high end classics to choose from. Ranging from a 1994 Lister Storm (£145,000 - £165,000) to a Volvo P1800S (£24,000 - £28,000), there is something for most tastes. We rather like the MK1 Capri 1.6 Litre looks very nice, and the estimate reflects this at £13,000 - £16,000. It will be interesting to see if the 1988 Porsche 911 Carrera 3.2 ‘Commemorative Edition’ achieves a good price given its limited production run. The estimate of £33,000 - £40,000 reflects what a nice Coupe can achieve at the moment. A rather nice 1971 Aston Martin DBS with 84,000 miles on the clock is estimated at £90,000 to £100,000. It is only a matter of time before Aston Martin Vanquish values start to take off and the 48,000 mile example in this sale is a good opportunity for someone to get in on the ground floor with an estimate of £55,000 - £60,000.
