Historics latest sale was last Saturday and the results are now available. The sale included several cars from the estate of Alan Monkley who collected Ford Savage MK2 Cortina cars which included a super rare 1970 estate believed to have been owned by Jeff Uren who had raced for and managed the Ford Works team . This car was estimated at £27,000 - £35,000, but went on to make £39,200. A 1969 Ford Cortina Mk. II Savage saloon also part of the collection made £31,360 against its estimate of £20,000 - £25,000. Another 1969 Ford Cortina Mk. II Savage made a strong £39,620 against its estimate of £27,000 - £32,000.
