Full ACA catologue now available

Anglia Car Auctions kick off 2022 with their first sale of the year on Saturday 29th and Sunday 30th January. There are lots of interesting cars in the sale ranging from a no reserve 1952 Daimler DB18 Sports Special DHC to a very nice 1970 Austin 3 litre (est £8,000 - 10,000). There is an interesting 1966 Ford Cortina MK1 of which according to ACA only 12 were made with the 1200 engine. This car needs some work and comes with an estimate of £7,000 - 9,000. There are a number of interesting restorations including for fast Ford fanatics a 1976 Ford Escort RS2000 Mk 2 which is yet to be given an estimate. The low mileage award goes to the 1976 Jensen GT which has 34,323 miles on the clock and is estimated at £12,000 - 16,000. There is usually a healthy contingent of Mercedes in an ACA sale and this one is no exception and the car of most interest is the beautifully proportioned 1966 W111 250SE Coupe. This one has been fitted with a powerplant of a 280SE so not for the purist but those lines should still be worth the estimate of £28,000 to £32,000 if the car presents well.
