Classic Car Auctions this Saturday.

Potential buyers are going to be spoilt for choice this coming Saturday. Firstly they must choose north or south with Historics at Brookland and Classic Car Auctions at the Warwickshire exhibition centre going head to head in attracting punters to their respective sales. Both sales have an excellent selection of cars on offer and at Calssic Car Auctions they have a mammoth sale of around 170 lots to get through. Being big fans of the early Capris we are rather taken by the 1970 Ford Capri 3000GT MK1 XLR. Bonhams recently sold an automatic 3000E which was in great condition for £20,700 and if the car in this sale is in good order it could well fetch a similar figure making the estimate of £17,000 to £20,000 look about right. We will also be keeping a close eye on the Porsche 911 (930) Turbo in this sale. The value of these cars have struggled in recent years, but they are now playing catch-up to the big price tags some of the later Turbo series now command. If the car in this sale is in good order it would be excellent value within the estimate of £60,000 to £70,000. If you are seeking something unusual that stands out from the crowd the NSU Prinz 4L ticks all of those boxes being one of just 12 remaining survivors, this car is described as unmarked. The look is unusual, but a great piece of motoring history at the estimate of £5,000 to £7,000.
