Brightwells online auction gets underway this week
09 August 2020
Brightwells latest online sale takes place this week with several days for bidding which closes on the 13th August. Lots of interesting cars in the sale and plenty of scope to grab a bargain given some of the conservative estimates. One such example is a 1954 MG TF 1250 which comes from a deceased estate, The car appears to be very straight from the pictures and has benefited from an engine rebuild. The estimate of £15,000 to £18,000 looks very reasonable given that nice examples can easily command a £25k price tag in a dealers' showroom. For rarity there is a Sunbeam Alpine Harrington estimated at £15,000 to £20,000.Another conservatively estimated MG TD is in the sale at £17,000 to £19.000.This one has a useful five speed gearbox conversion. For those seeking a worthwhile restoration project the 1949 Rover P3 75 4-lite Sports Saloon looks good value especially towards the lower end of its £3,000 to £5,000 estimate.
