1956 Aston Martin DBR1 Sells For $22.6 Million

A new record price for a British car was set over the weekend at the RM Sotheby's sale in Monterey with the sale of an 1956 Aston Martin DBR1 for $22.6m. This surpassed the last record set last year by a 1955 Jaguar D-Type that went for $21.8 million.
