Bonhams Goodwood Festival of Speed auction results in general show a market that remains buoyant with some strong results being achieved. For us the interest is in the results for the Jaguar XKs which have been creeping considerably higher this year. With E-Types values, espeically for the rare variants now regularly achieving the best part of £200k we are now seeing XKs and especially the rarer models regularly crashing through £100k with the odd £200,000+ result. the XKs have been overloked for a while now but they are playing catch up to their later E-Type cousins and are well worth keeping a close eye on. In this auction an extensivley modified 1952 Jaguar XK120 SE Coupé in left hand drive form realised £148,333. A 1959 Jaguar XK150S 3.4-Litre Coupé hit just above he £100k mark at £102,300 and a 1950 Jaguar XK120 Roadster in right hand drive form achieved £130,300. It has been a long time since a Gordon keeble came to auction and valuatons for many years have been static around teh £50k mark but the auction result of £79,900 shows that these cars are along with everything else heading north.
