Anglia Car Auctions

Some interesting numbers from Saturday's sale at ACA. The Triumph Stag with just 4,151 miles from new made £34,450 which might well be an auction record for a Stag. Another low mileage car in this sale was an Austin Metro VP 500 with just 757 miles from new which made £11,872. The results that caught our eye were the prices paid for two of the TR6. One which was an ex US car that had been converted to right hand drive achieved £20,140 whilst a 1972 car ,a very significant £31,800. The TR6 has been undervalued for too long in our view and if you see what people are now willing to pay for a nice TR5 (circa £50k) and with some dealers now asking over £30k for a nice TR4A, the TR6 should really be in the same ball park if not more. Perhaps Saturday's result shows where values might be heading.
