H&H will be selling a collection of Austin Sevens at its 14th April which will be held at the Imperial War Museum Duxford. The cars were formerly owned by the property of newspaper and radio entrepreneur, Sir Ray Stanley Tindle CBE DL. The star of the collection is a 1929 van liveried as a Herald newspaper van complete with 'Noli Cedere' (Do Not Give Up) insignia. The narrative suggests it was rebodied as a van in the past although we do not know what it originally started life as. It is nevertheless a lovely thing and likely to generate plenty of interest. The collection also includes a 1924 pram hood Chummy, a 1927 Chummy and a box saloon. To see full details of these cars please click here
