About the BMW 2002 Tii Coupe
The BMW New Class (German: Neue Klasse) was a line of compact sedans and coupes produced by German automaker BMW between 1962 and 1977. The New Class ensured BMW's solvency after the company's financial crises of the 1950s and established the identity of BMW automobiles as sports sedans. The term New Class referred to the 1.5–2–liter class of automobiles from which BMW had been absent since World War II.
The 2002 ti was replaced by the 2002 tii with the fuel injected 130 bhp (97 kW; 132 PS) engine from the 2000 tii.offering a top speed of 185 km/h (115 mph).
Steel monocoque
Engine : Iron-block, aluminium head sohc, single solex carb
Transmission : four-speed manual rear wheel drive or optional five speed overdrive box.
Suspension : independent all round with MacPherson struts at the front and at the rear semi-trailing arms. telescopic dampers and coil springs.
Steering : ZF-Gemmer worm and roller
Brakes : Discs at the front, drums at the rear, with a servo.
