Variety at Brightwells Bicester sale

Brightwells sales at the Bicester Heritage site on the 24th June brings an interesting selection of cars to choose from. For sheer size you cannot beat the 1959 BMC car transporter which should take any classic and at a push two Minis to your next race meet! For finesse there is a rather nice 1963 Bristol 407 which is one of just 88 cars ever built and apparently there are just six registered on UK roads at the moment. These are the first Bristol cars to be fitted with the meaty Chrysler 5,130cc V8 engine. For speed you can't beat the 1974 Ford Capri Uren Stampede which can achieve 140mph. A full history of this car can be seen on the Brightwells website and the estimate of £39,000 to £44,000 looks realistic given the car's rarity. Finally, for the unusual category the Healey Tickford's shape certainly fits the bill. It is probably styling you either love or hate, but it will certainly provide a talking point at your local show and this example which is apparently in oil rag condition is surely worth the estimate of £14,000 to £16,000.
