TR Values continue to fall

Along with most of the classic car market falling prices are now showing up clearly among the range of Triumph TR cars. This was very evident at last weekend's Anglia Car Auctions sale with two TR5s selling for £27,560 and £28,090 respectively. It was not that long ago that prices for these cars would regularly command in excess of £40,000 and some even above £50,000. Neither car at ACA was perfect and one had been in storage for some time, but the values achieved still suggest that values have come back along with much of the classic market. The same sale had a 9,978 mile TR6 estimated at £25,000 to £35,000 which failed to sell whilst a 1973 TR6 achieved a more modest £14,416.
