SWVA Results
01 November 2020
With another lockdown looming SWVA just managed to sneak in their last sale of the year on Friday. As always they have generated a very high sale rate of 94%. Many of the cars are very much towards the budget end of the market, but there are always plenty of interesting cars on offer. For us the pick of the bunch was the superb 1967 Vanden Plas Princess 4 Litre which made a very strong £16,659, a number probably not far off record pace. A well deserved result for such a great looking and well preserved car which once again goes to show that the best cars will always command a premium price. Two other cars from the same collection and in a similar condition also went on to achieve strong prices, a 1967 Austin Westminster A110 Super De Luxe made £14,686 and a 1965 Wolseley 6/110 made £15,344. We think the 1980 Vauxhall Cavalier GLS with just 40,960 miles looked a little cheap at £7,781.
