Super Saturday this week
31 August 2017
Three auction houses will be vying for the attention of potential buyers this coming Saturday. Bonhams will be holding their usual sale at the Beaulieu autojumble on Saturday with lots of interesting cars to tempt the pan European audience that will undoubtedly be in attendance. The sale has a large contingent of pre war cars on offer along with a collection of cars from a deceased estate all of which are offered without reserve. Among the mo reserve cars are a number of Ford Capris including what appears to be a nice mark one three litre car. The car that is likely to generate the most interest is the 1921 Napier 'Blue Bird' Homage with an estimate of £250,000 - 300,000. To see the full listings please click here
At the same time Silverstone Auctions will be selling a lot of high end cars at the Salon Prive event at Blenheim Palace. There is a large lot list that has plenty to interest everyone including a few rarities such as a Sunbeam Tiger MK1 (estimated (£): 40,000 - 50,000) and a BMW 2002 Turbo ((£): 60,000 - 70,000). Finally, H&H are holding their next sale on Saturday at the National Motorcycle Museum in Solihull. The lot list is relatively small with just 41 cars due to cross the block which includes a relatively rare Austin Seven Pearl Cabriolet which has been the subject of a recent photographic restoration. This car comes with a modest estimate of £4,000 to £6,000. To see the full listings please click here
