Rare Austin Sevens to feature at Richard Edmonds this week

If you are a fan of Austin Sevens, Richard Edmonds auctions are always a good place to start looking. This week they have two real rarities, a Speedy and a Swallow Two Seater. This will be the second Swallow Two Seater they have sold in as many auctions which is a record given that we haven't seen one come to market in the UK for almost a decade previously. The last car sold for around the £40k mark and a similar result seems likely for the car in Saturday's sale. What is rather unique about the car in this sale is that it sports a hard top which is something we have never seen on one of these. The estimate is £25,000 to £30,000. The other car which is just as rare is a Speedy. We have no record of when the last Speedy came to market and being one of just 16 known to survive, this car should easily achieve its estimate of £25,000 to £30,000.
