First TR5 to be sold at Brightwells next week

The very first TR5 off the production line, CP1 is to be sold at Brightwells Bicester sale on Wednesday 11th April. The car has been with the current owner for the last 20 years and over that time the car has been fully restored. Interestingly whilst the car now has overdrive fitted, it did not leave the production line with one fitted. This is certainly a unique opportunity to buy an interesting piece of motoring history. TR5 values have rocketed in recent years and this one comes with an estimate of £50,000 to £60,000 which would seem about right for a car of such historical significance.
