Ex George Harrison cars at ACA

The lot list for the first ACA sale of 2019 is already starting to build up and now includes two cars owned by George Harrison. The first is a Mercedes-Benz W126 500 SEL AMG estimated at £50,000 to £70,000 and the other is a 1980 Porsche 928S estimated at £90,000 to £120,000. Both cars are expected to make a significant premium over the price of a standard car due to their provenance and it will be interesting to see what they achieve on the day. The debate over what premium a celebrity connection deserves has been ongoing for a long time and in this instance both cars should do well in our view although estimating what they might finally achieve is more of an art than a science.
