DT Matthewsons sale on the 9th December

DT Matthewsons are one of the few auctions houses based in the north of England and have only entered the auction market in recent years. However, they always put together a good sale and this one is no exception with plenty of cars that are going to interest enthusiasts. Out of the list we could not help but notice the rather nice 1969 Ford Capri MK1 1600GT which is one of the early production cars. The MK1 cars are undoubtedly the cream of the Capri crop and although this is not the most desirable 3 litre spec, it is still likely to generate plenty of interest and could very easily make its estimate of £14,000 - £15,000. Also of interest because of the relatively low estimate is a 1967 Triumph TR4A which appears to be in excellent order and is being sold from a deceased estate with an estimate of £16,000 to £18,000. If you looking for a sleeper we reckon the VW Corrado in this sale is worth a look. If the narrative is correct and this is only a 61,000 mile car with a fully stamped up service book, the estimate of £4950 - £5450 is going to look quite attractive.
