Bonhams Goodwood Revival sale on the 14th September

Bonhams Goodwood Revival sale promises to be a real test of the current health of the market in classics. The sale list is full of high end collectible cars which should generate plenty of interest. At the top of the list is a 1935 Bugatti Type 57 Atalante which is one of just three such cars that have survived with Atalante coachwork. Estimated at £1,000,000 to £1,500,000, it will be interesting to see if this very desirable car finds a new home. Other delights in this sale include a 1929 Bentley 4½-Litre Tourer with coachwork by R Harrison & Son. This rather lovely matching numbers car comes with a not unreasonable estimate of £ 480,000 - 600,000. Another rather unique lot is a 1923 Aston-Martin 1½-Litre Two-Seat Sports Tourer which is one of the oldest surviving production Aston Martins which is estimated at £ 100,000 - 140,000.
